I obtained my BA in Translation and Interpreting (EN>ES) in 2010, and completed an MA in Translation and New Technologies: Translation of Software and Multimedia Products in 2017. I would like to highlight my specialization in the field of Website/App Localization and the Multimedia World in general, which is what I am truly passionate about.
My education is complemented with an MA in Foreign Trade, which consolidated my knowledge in one of my areas of expertise: E-commerce and Marketing. Also, another of my interests has always been teaching English, so I enrolled in an MA in Teacher Training in Secondary and Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Languages. Now I apply those skills when managing translations in the field of Education and Human Resources.
I couldn’t live without technology and I consider myself to be a computer geek deeply in love with ICT, who is always up to date on recent developments in the field. I am more than used to working with a wide range of online environments and CAT tools (SDL Trados Studio 2014, Wordfast, MemSource, Catalyst, Atril Déjà Vu, OmegaT, PoEdit, Notepad++, HTML, XML, VisualSubSync, Subtitle Workshop, GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Transifex, and WebTranslateIt among others).
“In my opinion, a successful translation job is the result of three key elements: efficient translator-client communication, full commitment regarding deadlines and attention to details, as well as an accurate translation completed on time.”
