  • STOP USING CHATGPT AND DEEPL THE WRONG WAY

I understand why one might be tempted to use translation tools like these to translate content from English to Spanish. After all, they are free.

  • FREE CAN BE EXPENSIVE

If you made it this far, you may have already experienced firsthand how machine translation can hurt your career or your business’ reputation.

  • DON'T CUT CORNERS ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS!

Blindly trusting ChatGPT without a second thought will cost you more than working with a freelance English-to-Spanish translator like me.

What if...

you could skip the stressyou could be sure your content shines in SpanishI'm the solution to your messaging challenges ?

These services I provide will take your message across borders without losing its essence:

Technical Translation

Technical doesn’t have to mean complicated.

Your documentation, manuals, and specs must be as clear in es-ES as they are in the original language. No ambiguity, no misinterpretations– just crystal-clear, precise translations thet help your users, not confuse them.

Let’s make technical feel effortless.

Software Localization

Your product speaks. Make sure it speaks the right language.

A simple AI translation isn’t enough. Your app, website, or software need to feel local and built for your audience from the start. I ensure your users experience your content the way it was meant to be.

Seamless, natural, intuitive. That’s true localization.

Copywriting Services

Words sell—AI translations don’t.

Your message needs to connect, persuade, and convert. Whether it’s a campaign, a tagline, or a product description, I make sure it resonates with your audience in a way that feels natural, compelling, and true to your brand’s voice.

Great copy sounds great and drives results.

Review & LQA

Quality is essential.

Poorly translated UI, awkward phrasing, or cultural mismatches can completely break the user experience. My keen eye for detail ensures your content is polished, consistent, and free of linguistic hiccups before it reaches your audience.

First impressions matter—quality makes them last.

I’ve been working as a full-time freelance translator for 14 years now, collaborating with both translation agencies and direct clients.

My journey into this fascinating world kicked off with a degree in Translation and Interpreting.

2

3

Given my interest in the subject of new technologies applied to the field of translation, I decided to do a master’s degree to specialize in Translation and New Technologies: Localization of Software, Websites, Apps, and Multimedia Products.

My fascination with AI led me to collaborate with several top companies to help train and improve AI models, especially in speech recognition, TTS, GenAI, and LLMs.

5

My expertise in Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) shines through my work for major clients like Amazon and Meta, where I apply the MQM framework daily. I evaluate translations using scorecards and LQA/LQE standards, consistently applying MQM’s categories, subcategories, and severity levels.

I’ve a strong background in copywriting, which allows me to create Spanish translations that flow naturally—just as if they were penned in Castilian Spanish from the start.

7

Having worked with a wide range of CAT tools and online platforms, I quickly adapt to new ones and enjoy solving problems on the fly.

One of my proudest achievements is localizing YAZIO, a top nutrition app, where I’ve led Spanish localization for six years—handling the app, marketing content, TM, and style guide to ensure it connects with users. Today, Spanish is one of their key markets, and I’d like to think my work played a part in that success.

9

Through my work in client-facing roles, I’ve developed strong communication skills—I know how to interact with clients professionally, be responsive, and take full accountability for my work. A big part of my experience comes from Upwork, where I still maintain a flawless 100% client satisfaction score. Not bad, right?

(SPOILER: YOU'LL WANT TO HIRE ME!)

A translation geek with a tech twist

I don’t just translate; I localize, adapt, and make sure your content feels like it was written for your audience from the start.

Detail freak, proudly so indeed

If there’s a typo hiding in your text, I’ll spot it, roll my eyes dramatically, and fix it. Don’t worry, you’re in good hands.

Fluent in both words and workflows

I juggle deadlines, CAT tools, glossaries, TMs, and style guides to ensure your content is polished, accurate, and on-brand.

AI won't replace me (anytime soon)

But I know how to use it! I stay ahead of the game, keeping up with GenAI, LLMs, and all the latest in translation tech.

Long story short? You need top-quality translations, and I deliver.

What's stopping you?

Don't take my word for it

❓ The million-dollar questions

My translation process is a mix of expertise, research, and quality control to ensure accuracy and natural flow. I start by carefully analyzing the source text to understand its tone, context, and target audience. Then, I translate it using the best linguistic and industry-specific resources, making sure the message is both accurate and culturally appropriate.

To ensure high quality, I always review my work thoroughly. This includes proofreading, consistency checks, and aligning the final text with style guides, glossaries, and client preferences. When needed, I also use CAT tools to maintain consistency across projects.

Quality isn’t just about translating words—it’s about delivering a text that feels natural and resonates with the target audience. That’s always my top priority.

AI is definitely transforming the translation industry, and it’s a powerful tool that can speed up processes and improve efficiency. However, I don’t believe it will ever fully replace human translators.

Languages are deeply nuanced, influenced by culture, context, and emotions—things AI still struggles to grasp in a truly natural way. While AI can handle straightforward translations and large volumes of text, it often lacks the sensitivity and critical thinking needed for high-quality localization, creative content, or technical precision.

Instead of seeing AI as a threat, I view it as an ally. When used wisely, it can enhance productivity and help translators focus on what machines can’t do: making content truly resonate with the target audience.

I take quality seriously, but if you find any issues or feel the translation isn’t exactly what you expected, just let me know. I’ll carefully review your feedback and make the necessary adjustments to ensure the final text meets your needs.

My goal is for you to be completely satisfied with the translation, so I’m always open to refining details to match your expectations. Collaboration and clear communication are key to achieving the best results!

Keeping high quality with tight deadlines is always a challenge, but with good organization and the right tools, it is definitely doable.

First, I rely heavily on trusted resources such as style guides, term bases, and translation memories to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

Additionally, I always prioritize understanding the source content and tackling the most important parts first, like key terminology or complex technical concepts, to avoid last-minute issues.

Revision is another crucial step in my translation process. I use quality metrics like MQM to objectively assess accuracy, fluency, and adequacy. I also apply manual reviews and QA tools to catch inconsistencies, formatting issues, or potential terminology problems. No matter how tight the deadline is, I always leave time for a final review.

Finally, feedback is an essential part of the process. I have worked in environments where constructive feedback is key to continuous improvement, both within a team and individually. I am always open to adjustments and suggestions that help refine the translation and maintain high quality over time.

After years of working in fast-paced environments, I have learned how to quickly spot what needs the most attention and where I can be more efficient without losing quality. In the end, it is all about finding the right balance between speed and accuracy with good planning and communication.

Absolutely. I totally get it—some projects come with trade secrets, sensitive data, or just stuff you don’t want floating around. I’m more than happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if it helps you feel at ease, and even if you don’t send one over, confidentiality is already baked into how I work. Your content stays between you, me, and my trusty laptop—no leaks, no awkward surprises. Promise.

I believe what sets me apart is my deep experience in technical translation and localization, paired with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. I’ve worked with top-tier clients like Amazon, Meta, and YAZIO, which has honed my ability to meet the highest industry standards.

My approach is tailored to each project—whether it’s translating complex technical content or ensuring a localized app experience that resonates with users. I use the best tools and resources available, such as CAT tools, translation memories, and style guides, to ensure consistency and accuracy. Plus, my background in marketing and copywriting means I bring an understanding of tone and context that goes beyond just words on a page.

Ultimately, it’s my passion for language, combined with my expertise and reliability, that makes me the right choice. I’m committed to delivering translations that don’t just meet, but exceed your expectations.
